The Nando’s Recruiter Index – How Spicy Are You?

So, we all love a cheeky Nando’s! If you don’t, you should probably leave now. While tearing into a quarter chicken smothered in hot peri-peri sauce, we pondered one of life’s greatest questions. What does a person’s choice of marinade tell us about them? And what does it tell us about a recruiter’s performance on the sales floor? Well, buckle up ladies and gents – we’ve got to the crux of the issue. This is ‘The Nando’s Recruiter Index’! Study this religiously – it’ll even help future interviews.

The Lemon & Herb Recruiter

Sun-ripened lemons, fresh herbs and a sprinkle of underwhelming performances. The Lemon & Herb Recruiter shouldn’t really be here. They only came because their friends suggested it – they’re certainly out of their depth. It’s like going to a barbeque and just eating the potato salad. We’re not expecting great things. The Lemon & Herb Recruiter is a little too soft for this line of work.

The Mango & Lime Recruiter

Mild and fruity, when not working the Mango & Lime Recruiter can be found frequenting the vintage shops of East London. They think they’re edgy and they most certainly raise a few eyebrows on the salesfloor. The Mango & Lime Recruiter takes the moral high ground at Nando’s. Talking about how flavour takes precedence over spice – this really means they can’t handle the heat. This is the same on the sales floor. They’re quirky and effective at selling but when the going gets tough, they have a quiet cry in the toilets.

The Mild Recruiter

We love to hate them. The Mild Nando’s Recruiter is quiet, shy and a little bit awkward. Not particularly great at making friends, we sometimes ask why they’re even here. Do they actually enjoy this or are they just here because they don’t want to be alone? Either way, they do their thing and get on with the job. Even if they are the butt of a few jokes.

The Medium Recruiter

We respect The Medium Recruiter. They don’t shout the loudest but they’re pretty popular. They bill well, hold their own and get stuck in. What more could we ask for? The Medium Recruiter shouldn’t be sniffed at – they’ve been here before, know their limits and know what they’re doing. Experienced and effective – this is the reliable consultant.

The Hot Recruiter

Ferocious and bubbling, The Hot Nando’s Recruiter has plenty of bite. They can be a little braggy and excitable but they’ve got good reason to be – they’re awesome at their job. The Hot Recruiter is extroverted and loud, often heard from the other side of the office. Pumped up for work, this consultant is an expert salesperson who knows just how to weasel their way onto a PSL.

The Garlic Recruiter

This one’s an odd ball. We’re a little scared, a little intimidated and also trying to avoid their breath. If there’s a future serial killer on your sales team, it’s The Garlic Nando’s Recruiter. They sit in the corner, acting normal and then drop this bombshell on us. Who orders garlic sauce??? Seriously, lemon & herb is a joke, mango & lime can be forgiven… even mild is better than garlic! They’ll probably walk out and find a more appropriate job – like knitting.

The Extra Extra Hot Recruiter

Get out their way! The Extra Extra Hot Recruiter is a live wire. There’s a general buzz in the air when they’re on the phones. We know they’re good but utterly mental too. They’ve been there, done that and chewed your ear off bragging about it all too. They work hard and party even harder – frankly, we’re surprised they’re still alive. They always manage to bill highly and even get top biller semi-regularly so we tolerate their existence. That doesn’t mean we trust ourselves to be in their company for too long though.
