Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Our client is a technology-focused talent partners and software development recruitment specialist. They bring an executive search style to niche technical roles to ensure their clients can access the best talent in a hard-to-find market.
They are leading technology recruiters in the energy trading market, with HUGE expansion plans to be made into Germany and the US over the next year or so.
Operating in a NICHE MARKET they allow their trainees to get trained on a one on one basis with the directors who have a combined 30 years of experience in recruitment, building out a niche specialism within energy trading, and build out their own desks!
They currently work with clients in this space such as EON, Centrica & Deloitte to name a few!!

What they offer as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant:
- Competitive base salary of £25k to £28k after 3 months
- OTE of £45-£55k in the first year and only going to increase year on year
- Commission structures that go up to 50%
- Fast track to management within the first 12 months

Day to day duties of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant include:
- Speaking to candidates and generating market intelligence
- Interviewing candidates for their suitability to a role
- Writing tailored adverts to post online
- Identifying candidates to Headhunt
- Business Development – cold calling companies
- Building strong relationships with clients to maximise ongoing delivery of candidates
- Making deals and celebrating with the team!
What you’ll need to be for their next Trainee Recruitment Consultant:
- University degree
- OR 6+ B2B sales experience
- Language speakers are desirable (French, Dutch, German)
- Money motivated
- Competitive nature (e.g. played sports to a high level)
- Good communication skills (on and off the phone)
