The Business – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Working across the buy-side financial space is one of the most buoyant in the recruitment space. It is an industry with endless revenue, innovation, and movement, meaning you, as a recruiter, will always have roles to go after.
You’ll work with clients such as BlackRock, The Vanguard Group, and JP Morgan, demonstrating the calibre of projects you will be working on. That, paired with the fact you will be learning directly from 7-figure performers, will ensure you have all the tools and exposure necessary to be as successful as possible within the industry.
The Benefits – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Starting salary of £30k, rising to £32k after your first promotion (9-12 months)
- Uncapped commission scaling to 50%
- OTE in year one hitting £55k
- OTE in year two hitting £70k
- OTE in year three hitting £95k+

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Winning new clients through business development
- Meeting with clients to understand their offering and company values
- Sourcing top talent through headhunting on networking sites
- Interviewing candidates and managing the interview process
- Handling any reservations and ensuring you consult based on market trends
- Negotiating the best contract for your candidates
- Following up on any business leads
The Ideal Candidate – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Experience working in a sales or commercial environment (part-time, internship, placement year etc.)
- Ideally you will be degree educated, but if you have office experience we would still like to hear from you!
- Financially motivated and driven to build a long-standing career
- Naturally competitive and determined to progress your skillset and knowledge base within the financial services
