Who is the BUSINESS you will work with as a TRAINEE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT?
We focus mainly on the Associate and Partner level market across the Private Practice space, which has led to our average fee size exceeding £90k, with some fees hitting as high at £150k! This, paired with our impressive commission structure, has led to consultants taking home over £80k in their second year at the business.
The majority of firms we work with are Silver and Magic Circle, located in the US, UK, and Europe. This is a really exciting opportunity for 2 driven individuals to truly embed themselves into the top level of the legal market!

What is the ROLE of a TRAINEE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT?
As a trainee recruitment consultant, you will be responsible for multiple actions throughout the recruitment process. You will be the middleman between both client and candidate and ensure smooth communication! Other responsibilities include:
- Building up your exclusive client base through business development
- Sourcing top candidates through market mapping, advertising, and staying close to your network
- Interviewing candidates and talking them through the opportunity with your client
- Managing the interview process, including preparation, scheduling, and passing on feedback
- Negotiating the best contract for your candidates
- Following any business leads and ensuring a constant pipeline of top individuals
Who is the IDEAL CANDIDATE for the role of TRAINEE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT?
The ideal candidate is someone who is driven, tenacious, and genuinely motivated to succeed! Other qualities we look for are:
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above in any discipline
- Experience working in sales or a client facing role (part-time, internship, industrial year etc.)
- Resilience and ability to bounce back from mistakes
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Positive attitude and financial drive!
