The Client & Opportunity – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Our client is a market leader in public sector recruitment, specialising in the buoyant areas of town planning, housing, and property. With an impressive track record and ambitious growth plans over the next three years, this is an exciting time to join their expanding team.
You’ll have the opportunity to become a true specialist and go-to expert in your market, learning directly from experienced, high-performing consultants. They’re looking for two ambitious Trainee Recruitment Consultants to join them and develop into the future leaders of the business.
This role offers exposure to top clients and candidates, an extensive training programme, and a clear career progression path with your first promotion expected within six months!
What You’ll Be Doing – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Building lasting, trusted relationships with candidates and clients
- Generating new business to offer candidates the best career opportunities
- Arranging and managing interviews, guiding candidates from initial interest to successful placement
- Providing excellent aftercare support to placed candidates
- Writing engaging job adverts
- Headhunting and vetting new candidates for live roles
- Identifying new areas for business growth and development

- £26,000 base salary + uncapped commission (OTE £45,000+ in Year 1)
