Every consultant on the Management team has progressed from a trainee position, demonstrating just how far you can go in the business. You will have set targets from day one for each promotion, meaning you will know exactly what you need to achieve to climb the ladder.

- Starting salary of £27k, rising to £30k when you hit senior consultant
- Uncapped commission structure seeing you take home between £50k-£70k in your first year
- Clear progression pathway from day one- win your first promotion within 6-12 months
- 4week intensive training programme when you start, followed by ongoing 1-1 mentorship and coaching throughout your career
- Quarterly incentive trips to different European destinations- previous trips have been to Ibiza, Mykonos, St Tropez, and The Alps!
- Options to WFH 1 day per week, increasing to 3 days when you are a senior consultant
- Early finish on Fridays at 3pm
- Flexible working hours when you’re working in the US market
- 28 days holiday + birthday off + bank holidays
What is THE ROLE of a TRAINEE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT?
- Client sourcing: researching businesses, cold calling them, pitching your services, and understanding their hiring requirements
- Candidate sourcing: advertising, headhunting on LinkedIn, and interview candidates
- Interview management: scheduling meetings, preparing candidates for interviews, and passing on feedback
- Personal Branding: posting relevant content online for your network, and advising both sides on market conditions
- Negotiation: both terms of business with new clients, as well as contracts for your candidates
THE REQUIREMENTS to become a TRAINEE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT?
- Recent graduate with a 2:1 or 1:1 from a top university
- Experience working alongside education (part-time, internships, placement year)
- Financial drive and desire to earn over a basic pay
- Ambitious and naturally competitive
- Confidence speaking with high-level stakeholders
