The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
This firm are specialists within the technology sector. They cover all areas of tech, from Software Engineers, to Develops, to Salespeople, and Cloud Architects. This is a hugely profitable sector as tech is one of the most heavily invested in areas worldwide.
You’ll work with a range of clients, including Hedge Funds, FMCG, IT businesses, and well-known brands such as Haribo, Monzo, and Lego.
All consultants will undergo a 12-month training programme delivered by the Learning and Development team who are always on hand for additional coaching. This has led to the top performers bringing in over £1m and earning upwards of £200k with only 3 years’ experience!
The Benefits – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Starting salary of £26k, rising to £28k after your first promotion
- Transparent progression pathway with achievable goals to climb the ladder- most hit their first promotion within 9-12 months
- Uncapped commission structure with no threshold rising to 40%

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Conducting Business Development to win new clients across the tech space
- Meeting with clients on a regular basis to build relationships and keep up with hiring priorities
- Sourcing top tech talent through headhunting on LinkedIn, networking, advertising, and using the company database
- Interviewing candidates and shortlisting them for your clients
- Managing the interview process from initial prep to negotiation of the contract
- Accurately advising and consulting your network
- Building up your personal brand on LinkedIn and other networking channels
- Consistently working to hit and exceed your individual and team targets
The Requirements – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Recent graduate with a 2:1 in any discipline
- Experience working in a fast-paced customer or client facing role
- Confident and articulate when speaking with high-level stakeholders
- Financially driven with the desire to earn over a basic salary
- Naturally competitive with a background in sports, debate, etc.
