The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Working across the technology market is one of the most lucrative to recruit into, which is why this firm specialises in all things technology. They have dedicated desks focusing on Data & Analytics, Change & Transformation, Cloud & DevOps, and Software Engineering, with the capacity to hire across all verticals.
You’ll be joining a team of 35 in their London office, with structure already in place to build out their office in the US, with opportunities to relocate. Every consultant has earned over £40k in their first year, with top performers taking home as much as £65k!
You will have access to an internal training and development team, with a 6-week structured training programme delivered from day one, and regular 1-1 coaching throughout your career.

- Starting salary of £26k, rising to £28k after probation, and £32k after your first promotion
- Uncapped commission structure scaling to 45% seeing your OTE in year one hit £50k

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Winning new clients through business development (research and cold calling)
- Meeting with clients to build relationships and understand their hiring requirements
- Sourcing top talent through headhunting on LinkedIn, speaking with your network, and using the company database
- Interviewing candidates, introducing them to clients, scheduling interviews, preparing candidates for interviews, and passing on feedback following any conversations
- Negotiating the best contract for your candidates (salary, benefits, start date, etc.)
- Consistently working to hit and exceed your targets
- Building up your personal online brand and network (LinkedIn etc.)
The Ideal Candidate – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above in any discipline
- Naturally competitive, demonstrated through sports, debate, etc.
- Confident and articulate when speaking with high-level professionals
- Ambitious and driven
- Financially motivated with the desire to earn over a basic salary
