The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
This firm is on a mission to become the leading technical recruitment agency in the world. They already have offices in London and New York, and have plans to double their headcount in the next two years.
The business is split into different specialisms; FinTech, HealthTech, GreenTech, and HRTech. This means that whatever brand you join, you will become an expert in that area and get to know the whole US network.
You’ll have the chance to work with impressive clients such as Monzo, Dualingo, and Future Mobility brands, giving you amazing exposure to the business world.
The Benefits – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Starting salary of £27k, rising to £30k after your first promotion
- Uncapped commission structure with no threshold (scaling to 35%)
- OTE in year one hitting £55k
- Consultants have taken home paycheques of £30k-£50k in ONE MONTH during their first 2 years
- Dedicated learning & development team who conduct a 6-week training programme and offer top-up sessions throughout your career

- Early finishes on a Friday (4pm) to start the weekend right!

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Winning new clients through cold calling (business development)
- Meeting clients, understanding their hiring requirements, and getting a good sense of their culture/ethos
- Sourcing top candidates through headhunting on LinkedIn and other various networking sites
- Interviewing candidates, understanding their experience, and shortlisting them for interviews with your clients
- Scheduling interviews, preparing candidates for interviews, and gathering feedback following any meetings
- Accurately advising and consulting your network on market conditions, trends, and salary benchmarking
- Negotiating the best contract for your candidates
- Consistently working towards exceeding your individual and team targets
The Ideal Candidate – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Recent graduate with a 2:1 or above in any discipline
- Financially/career motivated
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Desire to learn and develop professionally
- Mature outlook with high levels of emotional intelligence
