The Business – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
This is a really exciting opportunity for 2 graduates to join a leading financial recruitment agency. They focus on C-Suite level recruitment across the UK, US, and Europe, meaning the fee sizes are huge.
There is a huge database of existing clients, so little need for BD to start, and the chance to gain exposure to international clients from day one. There are also plans to open an office in New York later next year, so if relocation is something you’re looking for, they can offer it!

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Winning new clients through business development
- Building relationships with new clients and understanding their hiring requirements/long term company growth plans
- Sourcing candidates through headhunting on LinkedIn
- Interviewing candidates and pairing them up with the right clients
- Managing the interview process from initial interview, to feedback, to negotiating the offer and contract
- Advising and consulting your network based on market trends and salary benchmarking
- Consistently working towards exceeding personal outbound targets
The Ideal Candidate – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above in any discipline
- Experience working in a commercial setting (part-time, internships, placement year etc.)
- Confident and articulate when speaking with high-level stakeholders
- Financially motivated to earn over a basic salary
- Ambitious with the desire to progress quickly in your career
- Excellent communication skills
