The Business – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
This firm are specialists within the Financial Services space. With different desks specialising in different areas, you will become an expert in that area. Their main desks are based around sourcing Accountancy and Tech professionals, meaning there is huge scope for you.
Each consultant in the firm started as a trainee, and the management team is made up of 15 individuals with an average tenure of 7 years, showing that this is a company where people stay. Do you want to join the team then don’t hesitate to apply – this role won’t be around for long!
The Benefits – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Starting salary of £28,500, which rises to £32,000 after your first promotion
- Uncapped commission scaling to 35%
- OTE in year one of £48k, year two of £57k, year three of £75k
- 4-week training programme delivered by the directors of the business, followed by regular mentoring from your manager
- 2 annual holiday incentives – one is a company target and the whole team goes skiing if it’s hit! The other is an individual target where the top 10 performers are jetted off to an all-inclusive in Ibiza

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Expanding your client base through business development
- Developing your client relationships and understanding their hiring requirements, whilst advising them on market conditions
- Sourcing candidates through headhunting on LinkedIn
- Managing the interview process from introduction of candidate to client, prepping for interviews, passing on feedback, negotiating contracts, and closing the deal
- Consistently building up your network and keeping close to market intel
- Working to overachieve on personal and team targets set

- Strong academic background
