The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Working across the US tech market, there isn’t a firm out there that will offer better access and exposure to this level of work. The company has a focus on sourcing C-suite individuals across HealthTech, FinTech, EdTech, and HR-Tech, all within North America.
Their average fee across the firm sits at £40k, making it comparable to search firms, but with the ability to actually earn commission off your work from the start. This has led to consultants earning as high as £70k in their first year, with the average sitting at £60k.
Unlike other companies, there is a huge dedicated team to assist in training and coaching, meaning you will have incredible levels of support during your career.
The Benefits – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Starting salary of £26k, rising to £28k after your probation period (6 months)
- Uncapped commission structure seeing you earn £55k-£65k in your first year (OTE)

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Winning new clients through business development
- Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their hiring requirements
- Sourcing candidates through headhunting on LinkedIn
- Interviewing candidates and putting them forward for interviews with your clients
- Managing the interview process from initial call to offer stage
- Negotiating the best contract for your candidate and closing the deal
- Consistently consulting and advising your network on market conditions and trends
- Building up your network through your personal brand
The Ideal Candidate
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above in any discipline
- Experience working in a client or customer facing role
- Naturally competitive and financially driven
- Ambitious and driven to build a successful, long-standing career
- Confident speaking with a range of high-level individuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
