The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Specialising within the IT and Technology space, this firm have grown to be one of the best-known agencies in the UK, US, and Europe. They have offices in London, Cardiff, Austin, and Frankfurt and are taking on the Asia market next.
You will specialise within a certain region and craft, meaning you will know all the top people in that area. The average consultant has taken home £50k in their first year and progressed up the ladder quickly!
The firm place a huge emphasis on training and mentorship, and you’ll undergo a 3-month onboarding scheme to ensure you have all the tools necessary to succeed.

- Starting salary of £26k rising to £28k after your first promotion
- Uncapped commission structure scaling to 45% – earn over £45k in your first year!

- Transparent progression pathway – complete 8 deals and climb the ladder, with clear and achievable goals for each promotion after!
- Early finishes on a Friday at 4pm
- WFH on Wednesdays and Fridays (office is always open for those who prefer)

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Business development – winning new clients through cold-calling and pitching your services
- Meeting with clients to understand their hiring requirements
- Sourcing candidates through advertising, headhunting and speaking with people in your network
- Interviewing candidates and putting them forward for roles with your clients
- Preparing candidates for interviews
- Managing the whole interview process; scheduling meetings, passing on feedback, handling reservations, negotiating contracts
The Ideal Candidate – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above
- Financially driven
- Ambitious with the desire to succeed
- Confident cold-calling people at all levels
- Ideally you will have worked in a client facing role
- Positive attitude
