The COMPANY you will work for as a TRAINEE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT
Working across the Private Equity and Hedge Fund space, this firm are experts within their field. They have been running for over 20 years and grown to an impressive 80 heads in their London office.
They have teams focusing on placing Accountancy, Tech, Consultancy, and Sales professionals into global organisations, with a main focus in the UK, US, and Asia.
The top performers of the business take home £500k+ annually, with new starters earning around £50k-60k in their first year. The support you receive will be unmatched to other firms, as you have access to both the inhouse trainers, as well as the founders of the business.
The BENEFITS of becoming a TRAINEE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT
- Starting salary of £25,000, with the chance to scale to £30k within your first year
- Your first promotion predicted within 4-6 months (based on previous consultants), and your second within 12-18 months
- Uncapped commission structure with no threshold, scaling to 35%
- OTE in year one of £55k, year 3 £85k, year 5 £110k

The ROLE of a TRAINEE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT
- Meeting with clients and understanding their hiring requirements
- Finding new clients through cold calling
- Sourcing top candidates through headhunting on LinkedIn
- Interviewing candidates, shortlisting them to clients, scheduling interviews, and preparing candidates for interviews
- Handling any reservations and ensuring you advise both your clients and candidates on market conditions
- Negotiating the best contract for your candidates
- Building your online network and pushing relevant content on LinkedIn
- Consistently working towards targets and regularly exceeding them
The REQUIREMENTS to become a TRAINEE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT
- Background working in a sales or commercial role (internship, placement year, full-time work, etc.)
- Confidence speaking with high-level decision makers on and off the phone
- Naturally competitive with the drive to succeed
- Financially driven – looking to earn well over a basic salary
- Resilient – able to bounce back from losses to get the final win
