The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
The two founders of this firm have over 25 years of experience combined – both were top performers in their previous firm. They set up independently in 2018 and have quickly grown to 30 heads, demonstrating their sustainable growth.
They focus on placing top tech professionals into financial organisations in the UK and the US. Each consultant specialises in a different area (Java, Software Engineering, etc.) meaning you will have full access to the talent pool in your market.

- Starting salary of £27,500, rising to £30k after your first promotion

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Winning new clients through business development
- Understanding clients hiring requirements
- Sourcing top candidates through headhunting on LinkedIn
- Shortlisting candidates to clients and scheduling interviews
- Preparing candidates for interviews whilst managing the different stages
- Handling any reservations and negotiating the best contract for your candidates
- Continuously building your network whilst mapping the market
The Ideal Candidate – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Recent graduate with a 2:1/1:1 in any discipline
- Experience working in a client facing role (internships, placement year, etc.)
- Evidence of work alongside university
- Naturally competitive (competed in sports, debate, etc.)
- Financially driven and looking to earn over a basic salary
- Ambitious and driven to build a long-term career in recruitment
