The Client: Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Founded in 2019, our client are leaders in FinTech recruitment and identify specialised talent within the sector. FinTech recruitment is growing rapidly and is becoming an increasingly competitive market. Through building long-lasting relationships with their clients, they have obtained over $11m in investment since their initial development of the company. By creating these relationships, it allows the consultants to boost their social capital and economic capital. They now have a strong focus on the US market and are dominating the industry.

The Incentives: Trainee Recruitment Consultant

• 27k base salary with a 40% commission structure with no threshold
• One-to-one coaching from the top billers in the industry – some of which are billing 7 figures
• Competitive commission schemes giving you the ability to maximise your earnings
• Annual team trips – holidays to places such as Dubai or Greece
• Investing in their employees so that they can develop their knowledge and have the right tools and skills to succeed in their career
• Company events including Christmas parties, summer festivals, Friday socials and pub trips
• WFH 1-2 days a week after being promoted to consultant
• Fast career progression, allowing you to be promoted within 4-6 months

The Role: Trainee Recruitment Consultant

• Sales based role sourcing clients and candidates enabling business development
• Talent sourcing – understanding what the client is looking for out of a candidate and deciphering which candidates are best suited
• Negotiating contracts with clients; this includes agreeing on the commission your company will gain
• You do your own sales and business development by creating long-lasting relationships with both your clients and candidates
• Building your own business by having autonomy over your work from day 1

• Being a team player to help guide your colleagues through their processes if they are struggling
• Being confident in your abilities as a trainee recruitment consultant, as you need to know yourself and your abilities to be able to deal with high end clients
• Having good communication and interpersonal skills that excel when being put under pressure and talking to multiple clients and candidates
• Obtain an ambitious and financially motivated personality that will push you to maximise your earning potential
