The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Driving new business through cold-calling potential clients and pitching your services
- Mapping the market to fully understand potential clients, candidates, and gathering market intel
- Headhunting candidates through cold calling and cold outreach
- Shortlisting candidates to different job opportunities
- Scheduling interviews, preparing candidates for interviews, passing on feedback, and scheduling final interviews
- Negotiating the contract to ensure both parties are happy
- Closing deals and maintaining excellent relationships with previous clients and candidates
- Building your personal brand online and creating content relevant to your market
The Requirements – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above in any discipline
- Experience working in a client or customer facing role
- Financial drive and desire to earn more than a basic pay
- Ambition to progress quickly and lead your own team within 2-3 years
- Confidence and emotional intelligence
- Naturally competitive and resilient
