The Benefits – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Starting salary of £26k which jumps to £30k after 6 months (after your first promotion)
- Transparent career progression, seeing your first promotion after just 6 months, and the ability to build out your own team and specialism after 2 years
- Uncapped commission structure with no threshold, rising to 45%

- OTE in year one of £50k, with top consultants taking home £65k!
- Options to work from home 2 days per week (although the office is always open for those who prefer to come in!)

- Intensive 3-week training period – consisting of client and candidate meetings, classroom learning sessions, and shadowing
The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Winning new exclusive business by researching and outreaching new organisations
- Meeting with clients to understand their offering and maintain a good relationship
- Source top candidates through networking, headhunting, advertising, and speaking with old candidates
- Shortlisting clients and candidates to each other and running them through what the other looks like
- Managing the whole interview process: scheduling meetings, handling reservations, passing on feedback, and negotiating contracts
- Building your unique online brand – posting relevant material to your market, as well as showing your success/experience
The Requirements – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- High energy levels and ability to build rapport with a range of individuals
- Evidence of success in a certain area – this could be academia, sports, arts, or anything else!
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think under pressure
- Experience working in a client or customer facing role
- Fluency in any European language is a huge bonus, but not essential!
