The role involves – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

• Cold calling – potential clients and candidates, whilst also dealing with the rejection that can take place as a result of this
• Guiding candidates through the process – offering advice and support on different stages of the process
• Attending client meetings – visiting client’s offices to gain a greater understanding of the certain characteristics they are after
• Researching your sector in depth – Constantly undergoing research to make sure you stay up to date

The ideal candidate – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

• Resilient – keeping positive and constantly striving to better yourself even if a few setbacks occur
• Competitive in nature – a background in a competitive sport/activity is highly desirable
• Money motivated – willing to go above and beyond to achieve your targets
• Previous experience in a sales environment – is highly desirable but not necessary
