The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
If you’re looking to join a supportive business that specialises in the financial market, this is definitely one to consider!
You will join the team as a trainee and work the Hedge Fund and Investment Banking market. The firm is international, meaning you will have clients across the UK, US, and Asia, also offering the chance to travel for work.
Regarding the support and training you will receive, you will be mentored by the top performing consultant, 3 years running. This will help you develop and learn from day one, and also ensure that you have all of the tools to be a successful recruiter. Previous success seen in the team includes no one earning less that £50k in their first year, and everyone progressing to a senior consultant within 18 months.

- Starting salary of £28k, rising to £30k after 6 months
- Uncapped commission structure rising to 45%

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Building up your client base through business development
- Maintaining excellent relationships with your clients
- Sourcing candidates through headhunting, networking, and advertising
- Managing the end-to-end interview process for your candidates
- Negotiating the best package for your candidate
- Following any business leads for new clients or candidates
- Working towards individual and team targets
- Building up your presence online
The Ideal Candidate – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above in any discipline
- Experience working in a client facing role
- Confident speaking with a range of individuals on and off the phone
- Financially driven and looking to earn above a basic salary
- Ambitious, wanting to build a long-lasting career
