The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Joining this business as your first role within recruitment will do amazing things for your career. They are currently in their ‘scale-up’ era, already with 20 heads in the business they are looking at growing the company to 45 by the end of 2024. This offers the chance to grow out their international offerings, with plans to open offices in both New York and Berlin over the next few years.
Working in the technology industry, you will specialise in either Cyber, Data, or Developers, and soon become known as the ‘go-to’ consultant in that area. The support you will get is unmatched to other firms, with the founder being a previous top biller 5-years running in their old firm, and an incredible recruitment specialist who has built out multi-million pound teams.

- Starting salary of £25k, which rises to £28k after 6 months
- Uncapped commission structure rising to 40%, seeing you earn on average of £50k-£60k in your first year

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Cold-calling new businesses and winning clients
- Talent sourcing through headhunting, networking, and advertising
- Managing the interview process on both client and candidate side
- Negotiating the right package for your candidate
- Following up on any leads, whether that be potential candidates or clients
- Consistently working towards individual targets
- Building your network on LinkedIn
- Updating the company database with new information
The Ideal Candidate – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above in any discipline
- Experience working with customers/clients is preferable
- Financially driven and looking to earn over a basic pay
- Driven to build a long and successful career
- Confident speaking with a range of individuals and excellent communication skills
