The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Recruitment is one of the largest growing industries worldwide, hitting £40billion in revenue in 2022 in the UK. They focus on the IT and Technology market across the European market (Germany, Switzerland, and Austria), with a main focus on sourcing Developers, Engineers, and CTO’s across these regions.
You will have the chance to work with their existing client base which consists of Sony Music, Porsche, and Monzo, as well as developing your own exclusive black book.

- Starting salary of £27k, rising to £30k after your first promotion
- Uncapped commission with no threshold (scaling structure rising to 35%)
- Earning potential of £45k-£65k (based on previous consultants)

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Building up your client base through business development
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients in person and through Teams meetings
- Sourcing candidates through headhunting, advertising, networking, and using the company’s existing database
- Managing the entire interviewing process; preparing candidates for interviews, handling feedback, managing reservations, negotiating packages etc.
- Closing deals and making commission
- Consulting and advising your network on market conditions and salary benchmarking
The Ideal Candidate – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Experience working in a sales or commercial environment (part-time, internships, placement year etc.)
- Ambitious and motivated to earn well over a basic salary
- Confident speaking with a range of individuals and adaptable to varying personality types
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Evidence of excelling in something – academia, work, sports, debate, etc.
