The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Working across the technology market, this business is well-known within their space across the UK and Europe. They focus on supplying Cyber Security, Cloud, Data, and Change & Transformation professionals to their impressive clients working in a range of markets.
Since their inception in 2018 they have grown to 22 heads in their London office. They want to remain a small, boutique, and collaborate business where every consultant is a specialist and making good money for themselves. Their growth in the next 5 years will involve opening other boutique offices across Europe, meaning there is opportunity for relocation if you wish.
The Benefits – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Starting salary of £25k, rising to £27k after probation (with regular salary reviews to combat the cost of living)
- Uncapped commission scheme scaling to 45%
- OTE; year one – £55k, year two – £70k, year three – £90k+
- 30-day intensive onboarding programme (classroom learning, 1-1 coaching, networking events etc.)
- Meritocratic progression pathway – no need to wait for someone to be promoted, simply hit your target and climb the ladder
- Plenty of extra incentives – annual holiday for top performers (5 nights away all paid for), vouchers to be won monthly, quarterly dinners out for exceeding individual targets
- Reduced hours on a Friday (9-3pm)
- 25 days holiday + 1 for each years’ service up to 30 days
- 1 day to work from home per week, as well as flexi-hours available after you hit your quarterly revenue target
The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Winning new clients through business development
- Attending client meetings to establish strong relationships and develop knowledge
- Sourcing candidates through advertising and headhunting on LinkedIn and other platforms
- Interviewing candidates and shortlisting them for your clients
- Managing the end-to-end interview process, including scheduling meetings, preparing candidates for interviews, collating feedback, handling reservations, and negotiating contracts for your candidates
- Following up on any business leads and maintaining relationships with clients and candidates
- Consulting and advising your network on market conditions and salary benchmarking etc.

- Work experience in a sales or client facing role
- Naturally competitive and striving to be the best
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Financial drive and desire to earn over a basic pay
- Not afraid to put in the extra work to impress your clients
