The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Named one of the UK’s leading Finance Recruitment firms, specialising in the hedge fund and investment management space, who are on the hunt for entry level individuals to join the team and kickstart their career. Founded in 2010, they have gone from every strength to establish themselves as one of the best on the market.
Set up by two best friends, with over 25 years of experience between them. They are firm believers in rewarding their staff for their loyalty – many of the directors/managers started as entry-level individuals. Working with the likes of Bridgewater Associates, Deloitte and PWC, you’ll have exposure to these clients from day one!

- £25k base salary with OTE in year one of £55k+

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
This involves managing the full recruitment process, from the client acquisition to candidate placement:
- Bringing on active roles – Actively seeking out new client relationships, pitching the services you can provide, understanding their hiring needs and building that long-term partnership. This involves networking, cold calling etc.
- Candidate sourcing and screening – Sourcing candidates through various methods, including database searches, networking, referrals and direct approaches. Assessing candidate suitability by conducting interviews, reviewing resumes and evaluating skills/experience against job requirements
- Offer negotiation and placement – Acting as an intermediate between clients and candidates, facilitating offer negotiations, discussing salary expectations and addressing any concerns or questions
- Market research and industry insights – staying informed about industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities, providing valuable insights to client and candidates
- Job advertisement and promotion – creating job advertisements tailored to attract suitable candidates. Utilising various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks, to promote job opportunities and attract a diverse pool of applicants
