What does the Company do? – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
We are on the hunt for 3 individuals who want to join the world of recruitment. You will be working within the marketing and communications space, sourcing the best talent for your exciting clients across the globe. Furthermore you will have the chance to work with clients such as Monzo, Lego, and Asos.
You will join the team under one of the most successful consultants at the business. With amazing 1-1 support and mentorship, you will quickly be on your way to your first promotion within just 8 months, and have the option to build out your own team after 2 years.
With many clients based overseas, you will also have the chance to travel to build relationships with international clients, which also offers the opportunity to build out new teams/offices abroad, with the support of the business!
The Fun Stuff – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Starting salary of £26k, rising with each promotion, as well as annual salary reviews
- Uncapped commission from the get-go, seeing you earn £50k+ in your first year, £65k+ in your second year, and £80+ in year three!
- Targeted promotions – hit your target and climb the ladder! First promotion usually seen within just 8 months at the company
- Quarterly ‘perfect day’ incentives – previous trips have included lunch in Paris, exploring Barcelona, a day at the races, and dinner at the Shard in London!
- Annual holiday incentives for the top performers – last year the team went to Dubai on the company card for 5 days!
- Options to work from home 2x per week when you hit senior consultant
- Flexible working hours during the week (8:30-4:30, or 9-5), as well as reduced working hours on a Friday – 9:30am-4pm
- Lots of face-to-face contact with clients and candidates, with regular networking events – wine tasting, market talks, and so much more!
- 1-month sabbatical after 3-years’ service
What the day-to-day looks like – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- You will be conducting business development to win exciting exclusive clients
- Maintaining excellent relationships with your clients
- Sourcing candidates through headhunting on LinkedIn
- Managing the interview process – scheduling meetings, preparing candidates for interviews, passing on feedback as well as negotiating the best contract
- Building an online presence as well as creating content relevant to your network
- Working towards individual and team targets
Who are you?
- A recent graduate with a degree in any discipline
- Background working in a customer or client facing role
- Determination to build a successful career and a willingness to go above and beyond for your clients
- Financial drive to earn over a basic salary
- Confident throwing yourself in the deep end and cold-calling a range of individuals
