The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

We are on the lookout for 4 ambitious graduates or sales professionals who are looking to step into the world of recruitment. You will be working across the FinTech space, partnering with clients across the UK, US, and Europe. This not only offers incredible exposure to international business, but also the chance to travel and meet with clients!

You will join the business on the ‘trainee academy’, meaning you will have a full-onboarding process spanning over 3-months to get you up and running to become successful in the role. You will be paired with a top performer of the company, who will be your 1-1 mentor.

Every consultant has progressed quickly when joining the firm, with top performers seeing their first promotion within 3-4 months, and others progressing within 6 months tops. You will also join the successful team of earning £50k-£60k in your first year, as seen by every other member of the team!

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • Winning your own exclusive clients and building strong relationships with them
  • Sourcing candidates through headhunting on LinkedIn, advertising, and networking
  • Interviewing candidates and preparing them for meetings with your clients
  • Managing the whole interview process- pushing back on objections, passing on feedback, negotiating the end contract
  • Building your online brand and creating relevant content for your candidates

Ideal Candidate – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • Recent graduate in any discipline
  • Background working in a fast-paced sales environment is desirable
  • Naturally competitive – competed in sports, academia, debate etc.
  • Financially driven and wanting to earn over a basic salary
  • Confident speaking with a range of individuals on and off the phone
