The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Working across the financial space, we are looking for 2 trainees to come in and join the temp team placing newly qualified accountants into a range of industries, all the way up to headhunting CFO’s for some of London’s biggest firms.
This role is a really exciting and engaging one for someone starting their recruitment journey. The majority of candidates you will be working with will be candidates in their 20’s who have recently graduated/move to London from abroad (lots of Aussies and Kiwis!) who are looking for quick work. This means you will have lots of face to face contact with your clients, and help them adjust to the City!
This firm have great success in getting consultants up and running quickly, and you will see your first promotion within just 6 months, whilst earning some excellent money along the way (£50k+ in year one!). If you’re looking for a firm that values you, and puts your career first, apply now!

- Starting salary of £25k, rising with each promotion
- Uncapped commission structure with no threshold, rising up to 45% which will see you earning over £50k in your first year!

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Business development to win new clients
- Managing existing client relationships
- Sourcing top talent through headhunting, networking, advertising, and using the company database
- Leading the interview process from start to finish, ensuring both parties receive feedback following any meetings
- Negotiating the right package for your candidates
- Consistently building your network and creating relevant content regarding the market, job listings, and advice
Ideal Candidate – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Degree educated OR a background working in a sales or commercial setting
- Confidence speaking with a range of high-level individuals both in person and on the phone
- Financial drive to earn over just a basic salary
- Proactive/go-getter
- Inquisitive and want to learn everything about the financial markets, becoming the go-to recruiter in this space
