The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
This firm is looking to onboard 5 trainees over the next 3 months. They have seen incredible organic growth, and with the 2 top performing consultants looking at building out their own teams, this is a great time to join.
You will specialise in sourcing the best talent within the life science market, working across the globe with very impressive global organisations as your clients. This will involve a level of travel to meet with clients to fully understand their offering.
All consultants have earned over £50k in their first year, and the majority will progress into a senior position within 9 months, demonstrating how high-performing the company is. If you’re looking for a fantastic first step into recruitment, this isn’t one to miss out on!
Benefits – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Basic salary of £25k, rising to £28k after your promotion to senior consultant
- Uncapped commission structure, seeing you earn £45k-£60k in your first year
- Structured training plan with 33 modules covered in your first 3 months, including weekly 1-1 coaching
- Excellent career progression, with most consultants achieving senior consultant within 12 months

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Bringing on new clients through following leads and business development
- Attending client meetings and understanding clients’ offerings and hiring criteria
- Sourcing appropriate candidates through headhunting and advertising
- Preparing candidates for interviews
- Being the middleman in the end-to-end interview process
- Handling objections and passing on feedback
- Ensuring your candidate receives the right offers from clients
- Building your network on LinkedIn through developing your personal brand
- Working towards individual and team targets
Ideal Candidate – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Recent graduate OR a background in sales
- Strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile for clients
- Financially driven and looking to earn over a basic
- Motivated to progress your career and develop your market knowledge
