The Role
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you’ll become a specialist within the Go-To-Market technology market, helping high-growth businesses hire exceptional commercial talent.
From day one, you’ll receive hands-on coaching while learning how to manage the full recruitment process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Researching specialist markets and identifying high-performing professionals through detailed market mapping
- Proactively headhunting and engaging top-tier candidates for exciting opportunities
- Building long-term relationships with candidates and industry-leading clients
- Winning new business by developing partnerships with innovative technology companies
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial outreach and interviews through to offer management and successful placements
- Negotiating salaries, contracts, and offers to achieve the best outcome for both clients and candidates
- Developing your own client portfolio and personal brand within a lucrative technology market
Who We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for ambitious graduates and individuals looking to launch a rewarding career in sales or recruitment.
You’ll be:
- Educated to degree level from a Top 50 UK university
- Confident, articulate, and naturally personable
- Commercially aware with previous work experience (sales experience is advantageous but not essential)
- Highly motivated with a strong desire to build a successful, high-earning career
- Competitive, resilient, and driven by targets
- Someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys being challenged
- A team player with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ideally from a sporting background or another competitive environment, demonstrating ambition and resilience
