Trainee Recruitment Consultant

We are onboarding three 2026 graduates for our client. They focus on Finance Recruitment, working with Asset Management and Hedge Funds.

There is a great network within this space, enabling you to build relationships with major clients in the heart of London.

You will be working all the way up to a C-Suite level, billing fees as high as £550k.

The Incentives – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

• £28k base salary + 40% commission with no threshold
• Year 1 OTE – £50k

The Ideal Profile for this Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

• A recent graduate with a 2:1 or above from a top 50 university
• Achieved minimum BBB at A-Level
• Strong sports background – BUCKS or above at university
• Ideally some sales experience – B2B, B2C, cold calling
• Financially motivated – will push themselves to hit targets and earn commission
• Hard working and resilient – won’t get fazed when times get tough

The Role:

• Consulting; Negotiating; Headhunting; Preparing; Closing
• You will do active business development by bringing on new clients
• Source candidates that they are looking to fill their roles, by mapping your market and then screening potential candidates
• Organise and prep your candidates for interviews
• Secure them an offer and negotiate the deal
• Make a placement and get your commission!
