Trainee Recruitment Consultant
£28k Base | £55k+ OTE Year 1 | No Recruitment Experience Needed
I’m working with one of the UK’s leading legal recruitment firms who are looking to grow their trainee team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who’s competitive, money-motivated and wants a career where your progression and earnings are down to your own performance.
You’ll be joining an established business that recruits into the legal and financial markets, partnering with some of the world’s leading law firms, banks and professional services. With continued growth and plans to expand internationally, there’s never been a better time to join.
From day one, you’ll receive hands-on training, work closely with experienced consultants and learn everything you need to build a successful career in recruitment.
What’s on offer?
- £28,000 basic salary
- £55k+ realistic OTE in your first year
- Uncapped commission
- Industry-leading training and mentoring
- 27 days holiday + Christmas shutdown
- Hybrid working
- Early finish Fridays
- International incentive trips
- Clear progression based on performance, not tenure
- Opportunity to relocate internationally as the business grows
The role:
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you’ll become a specialist within the legal market, managing the full recruitment process from start to finish.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Building long-term relationships with both candidates and clients
- Headhunting and approaching high-calibre legal professionals
- Winning new business and developing existing client accounts
- Understanding client hiring needs and advising on recruitment strategy
- Managing interview processes and preparing candidates for every stage
- Negotiating offers, salaries and start dates
- Keeping up to date with market trends to become a true specialist in your niche
- Building your own network and personal brand within the market
- Working towards individual and team targets in a high-performance environment
No two days are the same, and the more you put in, the more you’ll get out – both financially and in terms of career progression.
What they’re looking for:
You don’t need recruitment experience, they’re looking for the right attitude.
You’ll do well if you’re:
- Competitive and driven
- Financially motivated
- Confident speaking to new people
- Resilient and able to bounce back
- Organised with a strong work ethic
- Degree educated or have previous sales/commercial experience
If you’re looking for a business that invests in its people, rewards success properly and offers genuine long-term career progression, I’d love to tell you more.
Apply with your CV or reach out to Ellie Kiff to learn more.
