Accountancy & Finance Recruitment Consultant

Location: London

Salary: £25k basic, £50k OTE

We seek 5 trainee recruitment consultants to join a well-established, top end recruitment firm who have an exciting opportunity for graduates or sales experience candidates.

Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 Basic (Depending on Experience) + uncapped commission

OTE: 1st year – £40,000+
2nd year – £55,000+
3rd year – £75,000+

Career progression: 1st year – Trainee Consultant to Senior Consultant (20k – 30k base)
2nd year – Senior Consultant to Principal Consultant (30k – 40k base
3rd Year – Principal Consultant /Managing Consultant (40k – 50k base)
4th & 5th year – Managing Director/Director (60k – 100k+ base)

Location: Central London, Blackfriars/Soho/City of London (easy access to tube & rail services)

Based in the heart of London within the hustle and bustle markets of Technology, Accountancy & Finance. Established in 2007 and taking on 10 trainee recruitment consultants per year they have achieved a reputable name in the market. Previous trainees have progressed to management roles within 2-3 years and are taking home 75k+ per annum. A great work hard, play hard attitude has led to trainees developing their careers into places they never thought they would be at such a young age. You are given the autonomy to grow the business and use your natural entrepreneurial ability to exceed your targets and work your way up the career ladder.

The opportunity:

After a huge year in 2017, our client are looking to expand their business into new sectors with massive earning potential. The new division will be headed up by a well experience, 800k biller who will be dedicating all hours of the day to build the department and the individuals. There is no doubt that this desk will be hard work but for the right individual you will have the chance to take over the department and run it yourself.

What you will be doing:

The ins and the outs of the job will be varied as no two days are the same:

  • Business Development – Cold calling clients and generating leads
  • Headhunting – Networking with the best candidates in the market to fill roles
  • Managing the recruitment cycle – Prepping candidates for interviews and closing deals
  • Running a business within a business – Establishing your name in your network (becoming the person to come to if a candidate needs a new job)

Nobody will say recruitment is easy but it is your colleagues who get you to the level you want to be at. One of the reasons why trainees have stayed with this company and grown are because of an excellent company culture. They have a ping-pong table, dart board and beer fridge in the office to keep the mood in the office positive. All this accompanied with consultants coming together and organising nights out on a Friday to celebrate their success’. For top performers there are holiday trips to Ibiza, New York, Bangkok etc, 4 times a year!

What you need to achieve:

  • A 2:1 graduate from a Top 50 University
  • Or, 6 months B2B sales experience, (call centre agent/estate agent/door to door salesman etc)
  • Ambitious
  • Money motivated
  • Competitive, outstanding sports is a bonus
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Persuasive
  • Hard working
