The Company – Recruitment Consultant
This firm is a start-up business, founded by 2 successful recruiters with over 20 years’ experience between them. They were both top performers of their previous business and helped grow out over-achieving teams. They have a vision to build an autonomous business where everyone is performing well, but also have the flexibility for a proper work/life balance.
You will work placing marketing and communication professionals into the tech and finance sectors. As the company grows, there is space for you to either take over one of the existing divisions or build out your own area where you see the company benefitting.
People are at the forefront of the business, whether that be the team, clients, or candidates, and so having trust and being aligned with each other’s values is essential. Benefits – Recruitment Consultant
- Starting salary of £25k-£30k, rising with each promotion
- Excellent commission structure which will see you earn £50k+ in your first year, £75k+ in your second year, and £90k+ in your third year

- Weekly meetings with clients and candidates to build knowledge of your markets
The Role – Recruitment Consultant
- Meeting with clients and candidates to build relationships and really understand what they’re looking for
- Sourcing new candidates by researching and headhunting on LinkedIn
- Managing the end-to-end interview process; scheduling meetings, passing on feedback, negotiating the right package for your candidates
- Creating reports and data analysis for your clients
- Building an online brand and creating content relevant to your network
Ideal Candidate – Recruitment Consultant
- Inquisitive and curious about understanding individuals experience, and how organisations are run
- Ideally worked in a commercial setting after education, understanding the importance of client relationships
- Ambitious and looking to build a career for yourself
- Confident speaking with clients and candidates in person and on the phone
- Able to work independently with an understanding of how you want your career to look over the next 5 years
