About Our Client – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Our client delivers high-performing talent solutions, market analysis, and competitor mapping for the Asset Management and Hedge Fund sectors. What You’ll Do – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will:
- Learn to map talent markets within Asset Management, Hedge Funds, and related financial services
- Research, identify, and approach high-calibre candidates (both active & passive)
- Build relationships with clients, understand their hiring needs and business challenges
- Support the sourcing, screening, and assessment of candidates through end-to-end recruitment cycles
- Engage in market intelligence, competitor mapping, and data-driven candidate and client insights
- Collaborate with senior team members on business development and client pitches
- Develop your commercial and negotiation skills through real live recruitment mandates
Who We’re Looking For – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
You are right for this role if you:
·Recent graduate ideally with strong academic performance
- Are highly ambitious, with a demonstrated drive to succeed in a competitive, target-led environment
- Possess excellent communication skills (verbal & written), confident reaching out to senior professionals
- Are naturally curious with strong research and analytical skills: you enjoy diving into financial markets, companies, people
- Are resilient, persistent, and proactive, you’re not discouraged by rejection and willing to learn fast from feedback
- Are self-motivated, organised, capable of managing priorities and working in a fast-paced team
- Have some interest in finance, investment, or the alternative asset space (desirable, not essential)
