The Company you will be Joining – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Our client is one of the leading financial recruitment firms in the market, dominating the space globally with offices in London, New York, Hong Kong and Dubai. They are hiring for the Hedge Funds and Private Equity desk, looking for 3 bright and charismatic individuals to help their clients with their hiring process.
You will be taught by the best of the best in the business, who are taking home 6 figures. You will be on a base salary and earn commission on top, so you can control your own success – the harder you work, the better you do and the more money you will make! It’s as simple as that!
The Benefits to this Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- 27.5k base with an increase to 32.5k after promotion
- Promotion is target based so if you work hard and hit your targets you will be promoted within 6 months
- 40% commission structure with no threshold to maximize your earning potential
- OTE Year 1 – 40k+, Year 2 – 60k+, Year 3 – 100k+
- 28 days paid holiday + birthdays + bank holidays
- Work from home offered if hitting your targets each month – 1-2 days dependent
- Opportunities for a free holiday 2x a year – incentives to hit targets, so you could be on the plane to Mallorca, Ibiza or the Alps!
- The team values bonding time, so every month you will have an office social, whether that’s a city break away, a spa day or Ascot – it’ll always be on the company card!

What the Job will Entail – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- This is a fast-paced sales role so you will need to be both organized and confident calling professionals within the finance space
- You will map the market and become an expert within your field, becoming a specialist recruiter that clients will trust with their hiring
- To source your own clients, you will have to do your own business development and understand their hiring
- You will then headhunt the candidates via LinkedIn, advertising, cold calling and networking
- Take these candidates through the interview process, be the middleman and set up the meetings
- Secure an offer and make your well-earned commission!
The Ideal Profile for this Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Confident communication with the ability to bring in a salesy element
- Charismatic and energetic
- Has a competitive streak – whether that’s a team sport or a family board game
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above from a well-known university
- Sales or client facing experience that can translate into recruitment
