The Business – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
The legal sector has been one of the most buoyant areas across the globe. Whether there is a strong economy, or things are looking tough, everyone will need lawyers. This is why we choose to specialise in Associate to Partner level work across the Private Practice space, and have dominated the London market.
Through networking events, word-of-mouth, and personal recommendations, we have built up relationships with over 85% of the market, and are over 100 law firms first point of contact for their hiring needs. This means there is little need for business development, and a huge opportunity to hit the ground running!

- Starting salary of £30k, rising to £35k after your first promotion

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Winning new clients through business development
- Meeting with clients to understand their growth plans and hiring priorities
- Sourcing top legal talent through headhunting and networking
- Interviewing candidates and matching them with suitable job opportunities
- Managing the end-to-end interview process
- Negotiating the best contract for your candidates
- Consistently developing your knowledge of the market to consult and advise your network
- Working towards hitting and exceeding individual targets set out
The Ideal Candidate – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
We are looking for people with a range of backgrounds, both through education and different work experience, but the most ideal experience is listed below:
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above in any discipline
- Experience working directly with customers or clients
- Industrial placements or internships are highly desired
- Financial drive with a background of working part-time work
- Positive, can-do attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
