The Incentives of Working in Recruitment – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- 28k base with an increase to 32k after 6 months once promoted
- 40% commission structure with no threshold
- OTE potential of 55k in your first year
- Work from home 1 day a week once promoted

The Job Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Business Development: Understanding who the top businesses are, bringing them on as clients, and building lasting relationships
- Consulting: Ensuring you keep up to date with market trends and conditions so you can advise people
- Candidate Sourcing: Networking, headhunting, cold calling, LinkedIn and advertising
- Interview Management: Organising interviews between candidates and clients, preparing candidates for interview questions and providing detailed feedback
- Negotiation: Negotiating deal sizes with your clients, as well as suitable contracts for your candidates at the offer stage
The Ideal Profile for this Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Ideally degree educated with a 2:1 or above
- Experience in a customer or client facing role
- Financial drive and keen to earn good money
- Confident and articulate speaking to top professionals
- Naturally competitive to beat targets
