Your Company: Trainee Recruitment Consultant
This company is growing out their team on the contract desk as their workload continues to increase. This side of recruitment is more fast-paced and so the potential to earn good commission continuously is a lot greater. They work in both the UK and US markets, so you have a broad array of clients to work with in the tech space. They are arranging a cohort of 3 new people to begin so that they can train them together in a hands-on and constructive environment.
The Incentives: Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- 27k base salary with an increase to 32k after promotion
- Usual promotion within 6 months as its target and performance based
- 40% commission structure on top of the base salary
- Hands-on training from the top billers who are billing 6 figures
- Holiday incentives 2x a year to places such as Mykonos, New York and Paris
- Rooftop bar for office parties
- Beer fridge for a early finish Thursdays
- Work from home at least once a week when promoted
- Casual dress
- Monthly socials with your team – cocktail nights, restaurants and bottomless brunch
The Job Role: Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Business development by headhunting your clients
- Researching the tech market and your space so that you can market-map and advise clients on hiring trends
- Sourcing the candidate your client is looking for through advertising, networking, social media and cold calling
- Organising their interviews and being the middleman between the client and candidate
- Negotiate contracts and make a placement
The Ideal Candidate: Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above
- Sales knowledge and experience with client-facing work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive – sports background
- Charismatic
- Approachable
- Financially driven
