The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

We are currently recruiting 4 individuals to start with this exciting client over the next couple of months. They work across the IT Infrastructure space and source the best talent in the UK, US, and Europe. They’ve opened numerous offices over the past 15 years and are now looking at expanding into the Asia markets too.

They place a huge emphasis on their training academy and run internal competitions on a weekly basis to keep things interesting (win things such as more holiday, gift vouchers, and early finishes!).

With clients such as Spotify, Lego, and Accenture, you can see the standard that they work at, as well as the reputation they have in the market.

• Starting salary of £26k, which rises with each promotion

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

• Researching and cold-calling potential clients and pitching your services
• Learning your clients hiring requirements
• Sourcing candidates through headhunting on LinkedIn, advertising, networking, and using the company database
• Interviewing candidates and pairing them up with your clients
• Managing the end-to-end interview process and handling any reservations
• Negotiating contracts on your candidate’s behalf
• Consistently advising and consulting your network on market trends, salary benchmarking, and more!

The Ideal Candidate

• Background working in a sales or client-based role
• Financial drive – desire to earn well over a base pay
• Ambition to progress and eventually lead your own team
• Quick on your feet with excellent problem-solving skills
• Confident speaking with a range of individuals over the phone
