The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
This is a really exciting opportunity to join a start-up business in its next stage of growth. We are looking for two motivated individuals who are wanting to position themselves in the best position possible and be a part of the business’s development. This person will help shape the culture, drive, and success of the firm over many years.
The market focus is within Corporate Finance M&A, as well as Legal, meaning the fees you’ll be working with are huge. The average fee has already jumped from £18k to £25k, with even larger fees in the legal space. With the main focus on the UK market, there is plenty of opportunity to meet with your clients in person, meaning you’ll actually be able to partner with them, rather than just be a supplier.

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Meeting with clients to fully understand their business values and hiring priorities
- Researching the financial and legal markets to identify your clients’ competitors and the top individuals in those spaces
- Outreaching and pitching to potential candidates
- Interviewing candidates and shortlisting them for your clients
- Managing the end-to-end interview process
- Handling any reservations and ensuring you’re advising your network accurately
- Negotiating the best contract for your candidates
- Following any business leads and keeping updated with your markets
The Requirements – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Recent graduate OR 6+ months experience in a commercial environment
- Articulate and polished when speaking with high level individuals
- Confident and able to a hold conversation with working professionals
- Money motivated and looking for long-term financial success
- Ambitious with the desire to progress your career
