What is the ROLE of a TRAINEE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT?
- Conducting business development to win new clients
- Meeting clients to understand the company ethos, values, and hiring priorities
- Headhunting the best candidates for your clients
- Interviewing candidates, shortlisting them to clients, scheduling interviews, and preparing candidates for meetings
- Ensuring you are advising both parties accurately and consulting on market trends
- Negotiating the best contract for your candidates (start dates, salary, additional benefits)
- Consistently working to hit and exceed your KPI’s and targets
- Building up your personal online brand and growing your network
The REQUIREMENTS to become a TRAINEE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT?
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above in any area
- Experience working in a customer or client facing role
- Naturally competitive, demonstrable through sports, debate, etc.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Confident speaking with a range of high-level individuals and able to push back
- Financially driven with the desire to earn over a basic salary
