The Business – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Working across the FinTech space, this firm are recognised as one of the best suppliers of senior talent in the UK and the US. Having only set up 5 years ago, they are already a bustling office of 35 heads, with plans to open a New York office in 2025, with opportunity to relocate and be one of the first on the ground!
You’ll help the team source excellent tech talent for their financial services clients, such as Hedge Funds, Investment Banks, and PE Portfolio firms. This could be anything from a Software Engineer to a Quant Trader!

- Starting salary of £28k which rises to £30k after 6 months
- Uncapped commission structure scaling to 45%

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Winning new business through cold-calling
- Building relationships with clients to fully understand their offering and hiring requirements
- Sourcing the best talent for your clients – done through headhunting, advertising, networking, and going on the company database
- Interviewing candidates, matching them with clients, preparing for interviews, and handling any reservations and questions
- Consistently keeping up with market conditions and trends, and consulting your network
- Working towards individual and team targets
- Building up your personal online brand
The Ideal Candidate – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Recent graduate with a 2:1 or above in any discipline
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Naturally competitive
- Financial drive and desire to earn over a base salary
- Ambitious mindset to grow out your career
- Excellent problem solving skills
