Trainee Recruitment Consultant

This company is on the hunt for a committed and financially driven individual who wants to kick start their career in recruitment. Focusing on the FinTech industry, this company is now dominating both the UK and the US, with offices in Austin and London. With two best friends starting up the company a few years ago, they are now a multimillion-pound corporation and so are looking to build their team from 20 to 25 in the next few months.

The Incentives: Trainee Recruitment Consultant

• 27.5k base with an increase to 32.5k once promoted
• 30% commission structure with no threshold
• Fast career progression – promotion within 6 months
• One to one training by the directors of the company
• 4 holiday incentives a year – Marbella, Mallorca, Ibiza and Greece
• Quarterly socials with the team – Ascot, pub trips, 5 star restaurants
• Work from home 1 day a week once promoted and hitting targets
• Early finish Friday
• Casual dress

The Role: Trainee Recruitment Consultant

• Sales based role that aims to connect clients and candidates to make placements
• Negotiating deals and contracts with the client
• Sourcing the candidate that the client is looking for through LinkedIn, headhunting, networking and cold calling
• Organising interviews and helping them through the interview process by giving them tips on how to succeed
• Making a successful placement and then keeping a long-lasting relationship with them for potential future moves

The Perfect Candidate: Trainee Recruitment Consultant

• Sales experience such as door to door sales or B2B
• Degree educated 2:2 or above from a Russell Group
• Resilient and won’t give up
• Competitive – against yourself to achieve higher
• Confident communication skills
• Empathetic
