Trainee Recruitment Consultant – The Company
RULE is currently working with the leading experts in the tech recruitment industry. They place candidates at all levels, from Graduate to Director, into the technology, digital, and change/transformation space.
Founded in 2016, they have grown to a business of 35 people, with their headquarters based in London, and another office in Manchester. They are looking to expand into the US market and open an office in New York.

Trainee Recruitment Consultant – The Role
You will be primarily placing candidates into a variety of roles within technology, digital and change/transformation roles ranging from the top to bottom of the ladder. Operating at all levels on a permanent, contract, interim and executive search basis.
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant your role is split into two parts: Business development and candidate sourcing.
Business Development
- Cold calling potential new clients
- Building and maintaining relationships
- Going to client meetings to keep up to date on hiring criteria
Candidate Sourcing
- Headhunting, Advertising, Networking, Database
- Screening CV’s
- Interviewing candidates
- Prepping candidates for interviews
Throughout the process you will act as the ‘middleman’, navigating the process and ensuring both sides know who they are seeing and when, and then gathering feedback from your client and candidate. When an offer is put on the table it is then your responsibility to negotiate the best deal for your candidate.

We are currently seeking driven, ambitious, and money motivated individuals looking for unlimited earning potential. Our client has an amazing opportunity for an aspirational graduate in which you can earn upwards of £45,000 within your first 12 months.
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above in any discipline
- Self-starter, happy to work both independently and in a team
- Strong work ethic
- Confident both on and off the phone
- Excelled in something (e.g., sports, music, art, drama)
- Language speakers are desirable
- Evidence of hard-work and money-motivation
