TRAINEE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT

Recently founded in 2019, this company are leaders in FinTech recruitment and identify specialised talent within a sector with major growth. They have maintained relationships with unique clients ensuring they have gained over $11m in investment since their start up. They are now dominating the US market as well. With a niche approach to FinTech recruitment, consultants build relationships with some of the richest FinTech professionals in the market.

What is the Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant:
This involves managing the full recruitment process, from the client acquisition to candidate placement:
• Bringing on active roles – Seek out out new client relationships, understanding their needs, pitching yourself and what you can do, and building long-lasting relationships. This involves networking, cold calling etc.
•Sourcing candidates – Using various methods, including database searches, networking (such as using LinkedIn), referrals and direct approaches. Assessing candidate suitability through interviews, reviewing CVs and evaluating skills/experience against job requirements.
• Offer negotiation and placement – Acting as an intermediate between client and candidates, facilitating offer negotiations, discussing salary expectations and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Market research and industry insights – Staying informed about industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities, providing valuable insights to client and candidates.
• Job advertisement and promotion – Creating job advertisements tailored to attract suitable candidates. Utilising various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks, to promote job opportunities and attract a diverse pool of applicants.
Ideal Candidate – Trainee Recruitment Consultant:
- Degree educated with 2:1 or above
- Competitive in nature – a real drive to succeed – ideally with a sports background
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Money motivated and hard working to see the results
