What’s in it for you – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • Clear, structured career progression– Moving up is based solely on hitting tangible and achievable targets.
  • During the first 3-6 months, you will be immersed in both classroom and one-to-one training.
  • After this training period, you’ll be promoted to consultant where you’re in control of your own “business within a business”.
  • Regular lunch clubs – Hit your monthly target and you can expect luxury Michelin starred lunches across London’s best restaurants!
  • Holidays – When the team performs well collectively, they are rewarded handsomely, an incredible annual all-expenses paid get-away, past destinations include Mykonos, Barcelona and Malta!
  • Social events – Celebrating regular wins is a big part of the culture here, whether that’s a group spa trip or team sporting night at one of London’s many activities.
  • Super exciting global clientele – you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with some huge and very exciting businesses.

What is the role of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant?

The responsibilities of a recruitment consultant are broken down into two key areas, the candidate side and the client side:

Candidate side:

  • You’ll be sourcing new talent and reconnecting with previous placements from the company database.
  • There’s an element of advertising on job boards and on LinkedIn, reviewing inbound applications and CV’s etc.
  • You’ll also be headhunting relevant candidate profiles – this aspect of the role is fairly research heavy.
  • Next you will qualify the candidates, talking directly to them in detail.
  • Beyond finding candidates, you’ll negotiate on their behalf, help liaise with onboarding and aftercare.

Client side:

  • You’ll cultivate business relationships with existing partners alongside developing new business opportunities.
  • Networking on LinkedIn and at events will help establish yourself in your market and open up business opportunities!
  • Direct outreach to prospective clients via cold calling, emailing, messaging etc. – whichever medium is most successful for you, your personal and creative touch on outreach is encouraged!
  • Eventually you’ll manage your own client base and become a trusted supplier and advisor to them.

What you’ll bring as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • Manage your workload and remain highly self-driven – working well both independently and collaboratively when it is right.
  • Alignment with the company’s values of commitment to partnership and collaboration.
  • A positive and can-do attitude to help you hit the ground running.
  • Financial drive and the desire to earn over a basic salary.

The interview process comprises 2 virtual and 1 in-person stages and can be finalised in as little as two weeks.  Interested in this opportunity, apply today for immediate consideration!
