The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Working across the Financial Technology space, these guys are looking for four ambitious trainees to join them. They focus on placing Software Developers, Engineers, and CTO’s across Hedge Funds and PE backed businesses in the UK and the US.

They have been established for 6 years and are very much in their scale-up phase. The two founders were top performers at their previous business (built up of over 200 consultants) meaning you will get 1-1 training from true experts in their field.

The Benefits – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

• Starting salary of £27,000, rising with each promotion (as well as annual salary reviews to keep up with cost of living)
• Uncapped commission structure scaling to 45%, seeing you earn £50k in year one, £65k in year two, and £80k+ in year three!
• Incredible progression opportunities: first promotion within 9-12 months, and the opportunity to grow out your own team or set up a new division within just 3 years
• Structured 4-week training plan consisting of networking events, client and candidate meetings, and classroom sessions
• 2 annual holiday incentives – hit your target and go on an all-expenses paid holiday! Previous trips have been to Dubai, Ibiza, and Barbados!
• Opportunity to relocate with the business in the next 2 years to help establish their New York office
• Options to work from home one day per week, although the office is open every day for those who want to come in

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

• Business development: researching, cold-calling, pitching, and negotiating contracts with new clients
• Candidate sourcing: researching, outreaching, pitching, and understanding candidate requirements
• Interview management: shortlisting, scheduling, preparing, and gathering feedback after interviews
• Personal brand: creating content relevant to your network on LinkedIn

The Ideal Candidate: 

• Good academic record (A-levels/Uni)
• Experience working in a customer or client facing role
• Financial drive and motivation to succeed
• Positive attitude and excellent problem-solving skills
• Background in sales and ability to speak any European language is a huge bonus, but not essential
