The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Founded in 2018, this firm is looking to scale its business, doubling in size over the next 6 months. The two founders worked together for 6 years before setting up on their own, bringing a wealth of knowledge, success, and client relationships to the table.
They specialise in placing top technology talent into the Hedge Fund space and over 40% of their client base is in the US. Not only is this great exposure to some of the biggest firms in the world, but the US offers much higher salaries, meaning your commission will flourish.

The Benefits – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Starting salary of £27k, rising to £30k after 6months
- Uncapped commission structure rising to 40%, seeing you earn incredible amounts of commission from day one

- Excellent training academy for 6 weeks when you start, with ongoing monthly 1-1’s with the learning and development team

- Option to work from home 1 day per week, although the office is open for those who want to go in
- Flexible working hours when focusing on the US markets

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Business development to win new clients within the financial markets
- Meeting with clients and keeping up to date with hiring requirements
- Sourcing candidates through headhunting on LinkedIn, advertising on job sites, networking, and using the company database
- Interviewing candidates and shortlisting them for your clients
- Scheduling interviews between client and candidate and preparing them for interviews
- Ensuring that feedback is delivered to both parties within 48 hours
- Building up an online presence and creating content relevant to your platform
- Handling reservations and ensuring both parties are kept updated
- Acting as the middleman and negotiating contracts to suit both parties
The Ideal Candidate – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Background working in a sales-based role (desirable)
- Financially driven and looking to earn over a basic pay
- Motivated to build a career for yourself and progress quickly
- Confident speaking with a range of individuals
- Positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills
