The Company – Finance Recruitment Consultant
This firm specialises in placing Quant Traders into Hedge Funds across the globe. They have excellent relationships with their clients, and so there isn’t much need for business development and banging down doors to bring on new clients.
2023 was their 2nd best year to date, meaning that as they grow business can only get better. This came with their average deal size growing from £55k, to £80k across the board, leading to everyone in the company earning over £60k!

The Benefits – Finance Recruitment Consultant
- Starting salary of £25k, rising to £27.5k after probation, and a target in place to get you to £30k within your first year
- Commission structure rising to 35%, seeing you earn over £15k in commission in your first year (OTE: £45k-£55k)

The Role – Finance Recruitment Consultant
- Meeting with clients and learning their offering and the role requirements
- Mapping the Quant Trading market and understanding the main players in the industry
- Sourcing candidates through headhunt calls, InMail’s, and networking
- Matching clients and candidates together, and managing the interview process
- Ensuring your candidate is offered the package they are looking for
- Continuously updating the company database with old, new, and passive candidates
- Building an online brand in line with your market to attract a relevant network
The Ideal Candidate – Finance Recruitment Consultant
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above in any discipline
- Experience working in a corporate setting is ideal but not essential
- Financially driven and motivated to build a long and successful career
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Confident speaking with a range of high level individuals both on and off the phone
