The Company – Research Associate
An incredibly successful company that specialises in the Technology and Hedge Fund/Investment management space. They are on the hunt for financially minded individuals who are looking for an excellent opportunity to get into this rewarding industry. Located in central London they are a boutique business with 11 employees, working across the US and UK markets.
A unique opportunity that allows a more research aspect to be taken in comparison to other competitors in the industry. Importantly direct training is provided from the partner, providing you with all the necessary stepping stones to follow in the footsteps of their biggest billers.
The Benefits – Research Associate
- £27k base salary with realistic expected earnings of £55k in your first year!
- Salary increase to £30k after 6 months
- Quarterly incentive trips for the whole company to Dublin, Amsterdam, New York etc.
- Learn directly from a £1 million biller!
- Excellent commission structure that reaches 50% with no threshold
- WFH opportunities with 3 days in office and 2 days at home
- Excellent offices in central London – communal work spaces – work outside, at your desk, in the building café etc.
- 30 days holiday as well as a two week lock down over the Christmas period

The Role
- Gaining new clients/keeping a great relationship with established ones – attend meetings with these companies to find out their requirements.
- Research/meetings – diving deeper into the company and market.
- Headhunting – identifying potential candidates and establishing if they’d be suitable for the role, if so, reaching out to them about the opportunity in question
- Negotiating deals with clients/candidates – salary/bonuses/holidays etc.
- Consistently gaining feedback from both parties.
- Becoming an expert within your field and more importantly understanding all the current trends in the market as well as with clients.
